hi all, I am currently evaluating NM5 as well as many other mind mapping SW( both free and paid). I really like NM5 the best so far.

My only 2 concerns are:

1) lack of forum posts, replies etc - does NovaMind not have a lot of users, is it lacking in support?

2) the amount of memory NM5 uses on both my XP and Win 7 machines (this is not specific to NM5, Imindmap, Mindmanager etc all use about the same).

I am hoping NM is popular and well backed and supported as I am very much leaning towards this product.

hi stat1, I am a newbie here and still using the 30 day trial.

I am not 100% what that feature is. I can tell you that you can import mindmanager maps, and you can also create your own templates in NovaMind.

I have been reviewing several mind mapping software, including Novamind, Mindmanager and Imindmap and so far have found Novamind to be the best overall, at least for my needs.

Not sure if this helps you at all, but though I would reply as sometimes replies here are slow at best.

In the example, there is a list of topics numbered 1 through 8.

1. New Ideas
2. Better project planning and management
3. Increased sales
etc, etc.

How is this created?

hi..maybe I am not asking correctly.

I want to be able to number all sub topics, under a particular topic.

BUT, I'd like the number format to be 1, 2, 3,4, and not 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.1.1 etc

hi, new here...I have searched but can't seem to find how to number topics as follows:

1. subtopic 2. subtopic 3. subtopic

all I seem to be able to do is:
1. subtopic 1.1 subtopic 1.1.1 subtopic

Does anyone know how to arrange the numbering so each subtopic is a whole number?
