Hi wconable,

If you add more than 5 subtopics to a topic in the default configuration, you quickly see that the newer subtopics start on the left instead of the right of the topic, making a nice radial layout.

In any case, you can easily move and graft subtopics all around the central topic to your preferred positions.

Hmmm.
I usually attribute silence, or big gaps in releases, to the development team actively working on big things.  That's been the pattern in the past.

This is a feature from Novamind 4 that I miss in NM5.  You're correct Kathy, that it is not currently possible.

Beta releases, by definition, are part of the testing executed before release, so I'm cheered that there's activity by us regular users (including sending in crash and defect reports) during the beta phase.

In other words, the more issues uncovered during beta testing, the better; the more users willing to do beta testing on their non-mission-critical work, the better.

Hi Prashant,
I usually just check off completed tasks, but striking through topic text is fairly straightforward using the text panel of the drawing inspector.  there are three styles of strikethrough.  the choices are found directly under the "Default Text" button on the inspector.

I'm getting the same errors, Bob, with the same formats, so this is appropriate for a defect report.  (Maybe you've already sent one).

I'll send mine.  Have you tried other formats (Freemind, Xmind)?

Actually, I've posted this request, for hiding note and link icons in printing, anyway, to Novamind Support, and heard from Sam that it's a feature they're considering.

I imagine it's a matter of priority.  I think Novamind appreciates the value of it.
