Improvement Ideas / Suggestion: Ability to label connectors

Apologies if there's already a way to do this and I missed  it....

It'd be nice to be able to attach a label and/or a node to a connector between two branches.

NovaMind for Mac / Is it possible to create standalone branch/node?

Is it possible to create standalone branch/node?  In other words, is it possible to create multiple "main nodes" like the one that appears when you first open a map?

I'm trying to plot out a book and I'd like to have separate, standalone nodes that represent  each chapter of the book.

Ideas?  Thanks.
