I am downloading Mindmanager trial version. So I will wait for NovaMind 5 to be released before the 30 day trial period, if not I will cancel the upgrade, and go with Mind instead. I really hope it does not come to this. I have waited for almost  6 months for the upgrade, I think thats a very fair amount of time to do so, for something that is greatly needed by me and greatly overdue to the promised date, and yet seems to still be far from done.

I do feel this is a great product. One of the reasons I brought it, is because of the NM5 upgrade by September. I understand the delays, but as a Professional Business you need to be more reliable on that front.

I have been waiting since September for the update as have many others have I assume. I am actually not even working on NM4 because I am uncertain of how soon NM5 will be released, and I dont want to be caught in between two products when I already put a lot of time into project(s).

I can understand a week, maybe even a month delay, but now its still up in the air in nearly the 2nd week in January, & we still have no real set date on the new release. Many business's/companies fail just for these issues alone.

I really hope you guys can understand our problems/concerns/issues. Products may be great but the customer service & promises must be held in high regard as well.

I am curious about burning my files/slides I made on Nova Mind and was wondering if i can burn them to a regular CD/R and then use those files as a review on either a Mac or PC that doesn't have Nova Mind installed on them! Is there anyway to do this and keep the images, pictures and fonts?

Thank you

I understand Mind Mapping can be part of the solution, but I am one to always try to find things that can add upon or improve my situation.

On a personal Note the 1 class that i had mind mapped after midterms to help on my Finals, I Passed with B's on those tests, and those were the hardest of the bunch I had to deal with this quarter. Plus i know I can improve on my skill set since that was my first real go at it. Cant wait for Nova mind 5.

The one thing i really love about nova mind, is when i go for my National board exams, or i need my references for refreshers or future practice, it will be at the tip of my fingers always.

Thank you for your reply and insight. Any information helps. I knew of the couple you mentioned and still trying to improve on that, and a couple others I didnt know about and will look into after my Finals are done.

Again thank you.

I thought I was only posting 1 slide, but apparently it posted 11 out of the 30+ I made. I guess there are more examples to go by then.

I would greatly appreciate it. Want to see what other expierenced people think about it, or can offer me in guidance or help. Or maybe I am doing it correctly after all.

Again I am a Grad student in the medical/health field.

I would appreciate any help.

Thank you for your time.

Also I do understand I could probably use more Gfx, but atm its kind of tough because i have so much material to go through, and a lot of the art i seem to need isn't within NovaMind which is understandable, so searching, downloading and placing them just for one class is a bit tedious, but with the upload that I just did, i do have a few images in there, and trying to do as many as i can when i have time. Just for this class i have about 30 + slides. Not to mention I have 3 other classes, with similar loads of material.

Here is the name and link to my MindMap. http://www.novamind.com/connect/nm_documents/450
Called CNS Infection

I am a student in the Medical/Health Field. I got NovaMind to hopefully help me improve in all facets of my studies. It just seems that i need more then a single word or two to describe what i am mapping.

So i was curious to see how other Medical Students deal with it. If I am on the right track, or if there is some improvements i need to make/work on (which there probably are quite a few)

Thanks

Thank you for your help. It is Appreciated

Thanks for the reply. Was not sure if it was my wording, so I will try again.

I wrote my notes during one of my classes on ipages (Linear/OutLine style) then I copied & pasted those notes from ipages to my TextEdit application and finally imported them to NovaMind in Plain Text Form.

Now that I have NovaMind, I was wondering since I imported those notes to NovaMind in Plain Text format, If NovaMind is able to create a MindMap from those notes automatically within novamind itself?. If Not then what is the purpose of importing text?
