General questions about NovaMind 5 are answered in the NovaMind 5 FAQ.

- NovaMind 5 takes a really long time to start up or the UI freezes for a couple of seconds when the window shows up

Our testing so far indicates that this is caused by a virus scanner.
If you experience similar issues we recommend that you to turn off the virus scanner (if you use one) and see if this changes things. If it does you might be able to configure your virus scanner to exclude the NovaMind files.

- Where is the Screenwriter from NovaMind 4?

NovaMind 5 does not include a screen writing feature. We are planning to bring back the screen writer module in form of a plugin on the Mac version but currently we don't have plans to do this on the Windows version. Most of our screenwriters seem to use the Mac version - there has not been a significant amount of interest in the screenwriter on the Windows version. The screen writer will be available as a separate plugin for the Mac version. We do not have an ETA for it yet.
