Import/Export

We are currently evaluating Novamind for use by a group of Project Managers. I have used Novamind Pro for a couple of months and I like it. However, the import/export feature seems to be a little limited. Is this a limitation of Pro? what additional functions do you get with Platinum?

Specifically:

1.) Can you import/export with excel? Esp with the numbering in place (want to do this as part of a WBS development.)

2.) Can you import/export with PM schedule tools? MS Project, FastTrack?

If these are not part of the current product is it on your roadmap?

We don't have import/export with Excel - quite frankly there has been little demand for this feature - we have only had about 5 requests for it in the last 7 years. And I'm not sure how you would best represent the hierarchical data of a Mind Map in the tabular format of a spreadsheet - they seem designed for totally different purposes. If there was significant demand for it, we could look into it.

MS Project import/export is a Platinum feature.

NovaMind 5 will have importers for FreeMind, Mind Manager, NovaMind 4, Opml, MS Project, Text and XMind, and exporters for Mind Manager, Opml, PowerPoint, MS Project, Text, and MS Word.
