reapplying a template
« on: November 25, 2009, 08:50:14 am »
I run NovaMind 4Pro on both Mac and Windows; that probably makes this a "general" question.

After using a template, I have found that I need to change it. I've performed the changes, and resaved the template. Documents in which I had been using the template, however, have the characteristics of the earlier version, and do not inherit the changes.

As yet I haven't found any obvious way to update or reload the template into the document -- except doing an OPML export, opening a new document that applies the new template, and reimporting it. Is this kludgy procedure my only choice in v4? If so, will it persist into v5?

A template is a saved Mind Map that you can use as a starting point for new Mind Maps. It is not like a theme or style which can be applied to an existing Mind Map to change its look and feel.

In Novamind 5, how does one save a 'theme'

I can hide a standard theme, but there is no visible way to to this.

This is currently not supported but we are working on it. Please use the NovaMind 5 board for questions about NovaMind 5. Hope this helps.

11Same problem. I have Edmonton Escort Reference Version Edmonton Escorts 14 and an Asus G73Jh quad Edmonton Asian Escort core w lots of memory. Very fast on encoding to FLAC. All 8 cores used. Desperately slow going Edmonton Asian Escorts from FLAC to audio (not data) CD. Nero does it in 2 minutes or less.
