Introduce myself
« on: September 29, 2007, 05:46:29 am »
Hi, I'm new to the forum

My name is Ian, I live in the UK not far from Reading (about 40 miles W of London) and I have been using NovaMind since 1.0.

I also use Mind Manager on Windows sometimes when I need to work on that platform.

I'm a church leader and I use mind maps a lot for preparing and delivering a preach as well as other teaching-type functions. Also for handouts.

I have used map segments via KeyNote or PowerPoint when projecting but I am looking forward to projecting from NovaMind itself. Using visuals increases retention a lot but people don't like getting 'a presentation' so it has to be used sparingly.

I also do quite a lot of writing (as a journalist). NovaMind is invaluable for setting out a structure.

NovaMind has certainly come a long way and the commitment to development buys my loyalty -- also, if there are support issues, one can talk to a knowledgeable person directly. Try that with some companies!

Thanks for listening

IanG

Hi Ian

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for your continued support of NovaMind over the last 5 years. We are very much looking forward to the next 5 years too, with many big plans for the company and products.

Regards

Gideon

Just use the print function in the application menu on Windows or the File menu on Mac - this is all covered in detail in the documentation.
