Screenwriting

Choosing what part of your script to print:

You have the option to print your entire script, the script for the selected branch, only certain scenes, or only certain pages of the script.

There are also options for which of the continuations and scene numbering to include in the printout, as it is likely that you may want settings that are different to what you are working with in the editor.

With your script you can also print these parts of your Mind Map:

Include Mind Map Text - NovaMind can also print the Mind Map branch text which your scripts are attached to (note this option will not normally print branches that have no scripts).

Include Branch Notes - means NovaMind will also print any text you have attached that is indicated by the text icon.

Include Attached Text Graphics - means NovaMind will include any text graphics (the floating text boxes on your Mind Map).

Include Branches Without Script Text - means NovaMind will print the text from ALL the Mind Map branches, not just the ones that have scripts.

You can use the ability to turn off specific portions of the text for experimental writing.

For example, if you are writing a screenplay and you have 4 possible endings that you want to try out, you can write the 4 endings on 4 branches, and turn off all but the one you like the best.

Now print or export the screenplay and send it off for review.

If the reviewer likes the screenplay but doesn't like the ending, uncheck the ending you had used, check your second choice, and a few seconds later, you can produce a screenplay with the alternate ending.
