Resource Assignment

You can assign resources to a branch by either:

Dragging them from the resource editor on to your branch, or

Dragging them from the resource editor on to the Assigned Resources palette, or

Dragging them from your Address Book on to your branch (which will add them to your resources if not already there), or

Dragging them from your Address Book on to the Assigned Resources palette.

Below is an illustration of dragging from the resource editor on to a branch to add the resource.

When a resource is assigned to a branch, you will see a little person icon. When there are multiple resources assigned to the branch, the icon changes to a two people icon.

When you hold your mouse over the icon for the resources on a branch, the names of the resources are shown as a tool tip.

If you don't want to show allocated resource indicators on the branches, you can turn this option off in the map view settings.
