My eternal quest has been to find and use a GTD app that allows for collaborative sharing and also manage the data locally. Essentially, I would like the power of Nozbe, Toodledo, or Remember The Milk, but have it all managed locally. So anyway, here's anothe map on how to do it. :)
Since I've been using OmniFocus from the OmniGroup for my daily GTD, I've been compiling a map of things I'd like to see in a GTD app. The map will grow and contract over time, but I figured it was time to get it out there and into the wild. :)
Over the past month I've been looking for a solution to Delegate tasks to my team. I've looked at online solutions, but in the end, I had to keep everything locked down, so this map illustrates how we solved our particular needs.
I've been investigating GTD solutions for myself and my team, and have been stumped as to why certain things don't work the way I would expect them to. So, with this map, I just ask a simple question of Things, "If I can sync multiple mobile devices to a centralized Things host, why can't I treat my laptop the same as those devices?"
