This is version 1 (before linking inserted) of expressing the intricate network of data, documentation, interpretations at multiple scales and by multiple actors, and events now and in prehistory that the mind has to grasp when understanding how archaeologists work. This same intricacy and entanglement is completely lost in a two-dimensional 'flat' publication. This is a plan worked out for one small feature: a 9000-year old burial in a Neolithic house in Turkey
