How living beings evolved to respond to the complex electromagnetic fields surrounding and penetrating the earth and its atmosphere is a subject which can only be introduced in a map. There are, however, some fascinating concepts to consider: light/dark cycles and the regulation of many metabolic processes in plants and animals, Schumann resonances from lightning strikes in the atmosphere which may synchronize rhythms in the brains of all mammals, and much more.
