This is a study map only. I wanted to learn about the way iodine is used in the body and what different opinions and products are available. A small amount of iodine/iodide is required for health, but it may be toxic or seriously allergenic to some people. This map has links to products, one important debate, tests, and food sources. It is not a therapeutic recommendation to anyone, but is offered as an overview of information for further study. A new link on iodine rich foods added 03/23/11.
