This is a "get started learning about EMF" map. It has links to general and technical websites, books and online magazines, and more. I specifically left out sites which sell products and services, where possible, or links to specific studies. I wanted to save others from the difficulties I experienced trying to find the best learning tools. My favorite links are highlighted. Branch on audio-visual resources replaced by link to map on the subject 12/29/09.

Mapping is the best way for me to search medical literature and organize my findings. These two maps allow me to sample a selection of the volumes of research material on the effects of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields on the brain and nervous system. Highlighted studies on the first map are organized differently on the second map. Circadian rhythm link added 01/22/10.

There are studies and articles that propose interactions between non-ionizing electromagnetic fields and environmental toxins or detoxification processes in living systems. This map is my initial attempt visually organize, with links, some of the different mechanisms. EMF permeates the whole body, and response by tissues is varying, so these mechanisms may not be easily isolated for research. Atrazine/ELF link added 02/20/10.
