Description: We share the planet with many varieties of life forms. One of the under-appreciated groups of organisms is the Fungal Kingdom. I wanted to learn about the nutritional, medicinal, environmental and toxic influences of fungi on humans. These maps are my personal "starter" maps, with links for further study. They were inspired by Paul Stamets, author of Mycelium Running. |

Description: Bioflims are ubiquitous microscopic ecosystems of bacteria and other organisms living together in a sticky protective polymer matrix. Some bioflims are important to our life processes and some are harmful. This map is a simple overview of interesting biofilm properties with links primarily for study of "the basics". |
