  • notes Offer the ability to set permissions on specific Projects or Databases. This would allow the Project lead to manage the distribution of tasks more efficiently. For example, Project Managers could be granted access to only the Inbox, while Engineers would have access to Read Only all Tasks of a specific Project. This would allow all eyes on the project, but limit the number of fingers who can delegate and review tasks.

  • notes The goal is to make the nature of Task Management and assigning tasks more fluid and robust. Project leads and team members can assign Tasks and notify each other when they are assigned, completed or the status of a task has changed via a Notification system (Growl on the desktop, or Push Notifications on the mobile device). Imagine having the ability to assign a task to a team member, and having them be notified of it immediately. They could then confirm receipt of the task, and when they have completed the task, you would be notified of its status or completion.

  • motivation . Allow Project Managers to run multiple Projects from a centralized UI . Allow Group Managers to delegate tasks to their teams and assign Read/Write permissions on a per project basis . Allow Admin to manage database via Bonjour or WebDav (so the data remains secure and in our hands) . Become the standard GTD app for clients requiring flexibility and security in their day to day projects . Corporations will not use GTD services that live on non-secure remote servers. . Make GTD work effectively in a group setting.
