Not to go too far in depth but lets say we do in fact, as a class, quit putting our money towards these shops... well we might began to feel good about ourselves, sure. Good for us. But thousands of miles away, where these shops actually exist, suddenly many, many people, who are already struggling as it is, are left without any source of income. And while we would, in fact, be saving the limbs and possible lives of maybe a few workers within these shops, the bigger picture would tell us that in the end, again, we would be causing more harm than anything and the low salary many of these workers are already making is at least something in their pockets.
