Courage <-----> Fear
If you fear too much, you are a coward. Cowardice is one of the vices associated with courage.
It is possible to fear too little. That would be fool-hardy. Fool-hardieness is also a vice.
Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather fearing appropriately.
