Assign weaker players to 2nd roster

Map Branches

• Hold team tryouts
  • Hold on June 5th @ 2pm
  • Advertise tryouts in local paper
    • Need to do at least 1 month before tryouts
• Recruit volunteer parents for assistant coaching positions
  • Ask for volunteers at tryouts for team
  • Need 6 to 7 volunteers for various positions
  • Notify parents who will be volunteers before 1st practice
    • Remember: Volunteer parents should also get team schedule as well as coaching T-shirts at the same time team uniforms are handed out
• Hold team workshops
  • Workshops on a different skill will be held after practice, once a month @ 5 pm
  • Assign team members to workshops based on weaknesses
• Make sure team members get uniforms and game schedule
  • Order uniforms once parent permission slips handed in
    • Deadline August 1st or can't be on the team!
  • Hand out game schedule
    • Make sure schedule includes what color uniform team is required to wear for each game
• Set practice schedule
  • Practice will be every Saturday @ 11am
  • Remember: Hand out practice schedule at tryouts so people will know if they want to commit time to team
• Assign team roster positions
  • Assign best players to 1st roster
  • Remember: Everyone should get to play at least 2 games during season
  • Assign weaker players to 2nd roster
  • Make sure to get parent permission from kids to be on team!
