  • Make sure everyone knows fire escape plan

    • Go to the pre-designated outside meeting place before calling for help
    • If smoke, heat, or flames block your exit, stay in room with doors closed and place a wet towel under the door
    • Open window if stuck in a room and wave a brightly colored cloth or flashlight to signal for help
