  • Aquired
    • Obstruction of airway (ALVEOLAR DUCT)
      • Due to Aspiration of Foreign Body
    • Leads to resorption into blood of O2 trapped in alveoli
      • Creates pressure differential (Vacuum)
    • Pressure in unobstructed area = higher
    • Pressure in Obstructed area causes Collapse
    • Less space in cavity with collapsed lung = Low Pressure
    • Higher pressure areas puts force on Mediastinum
      • Mediastinum shifts TOWARDS involved lung due to pressure
        • Moves from area of higher pressure to lower pressure

There is so much information, but I am not sure if the way I presented/did this is the best way. Also I am looking for more insight and better way to do these mind maps, from experienced people.
