Sometimes screenplays start as doodles, or conversations with friends, and are developed through brainstorming sessions. But those brainstorming and planning sessions where all the ideas are being thrown out there left right and center are often not captured, and afterwards only a flavor of the conversation is left. Many ideas that could have been developed into something brilliant have been lost in this way. Many professionals in the live theatre, movie and TV industries already use Mind Mapping and brainstorming techniques to generate and develop story ideas, characters, organize aspects of production and more.
